Resting the wrist today, so no specific training, kept it to general strength & conditioning using Deadlifts, bodyweight and a 40kg kettlebell. And of course my interval timer, which was set for 20 sec work and 10 second rests (Tabata settings)
Start out with a few Deadlifts (I jumped in with my guys here, they were in full flow so I cut in and out): 100kg x 3, 120kg x 3, 140kg x 1 Really felt the 140 today, so called it quits after a single, form would have deteriorated beyond usefulness if I’d continued.
Then started the Tabata timer and:
Tabata 1: 1 Arm Push Up L 1 Arm Push Up R Swing L Swing R x 2
Tabata 2: Chin Ups Swing L Swing R Chins Swing L Swing R Chins 2 handed swing
Tabata 3: 1 Arm Push Up L 1 Arm Push Up R 1 Leg Deck Squat L 1 Leg Deck Squat R Chin Ups High Pull L High Pull R 2 Handed High Pull
Done! 30 second rests between each tabata section, felt charged and powerful at the end of the session. Went home to find a huge steak and massive green salad waiting for me on the table.
Doesn’t get much better!
