Training Log – 24/1/11

I think I may have over done it a little, got a painful swelling on the back of the right forearm. On friday I worked long Cycle and on Saturday I did a lot of Snatch, all with the new grip technique Steve Cotter taught last time he was over. Guess the bell resting in a new spot will take some time to get used to!

So did a more generic session today, let the forearm settle for a while.

Warm up: Skipping x 1 track on the iPod 100 Rep Warm up

Work Sets:

1A: Dips (on rings) x 10, 10, 8, 7, 8 1B: Chins x 10, 10, 10, 10, 8

2: Double 28kg Swings 10 x 10 on the minute.

Done. A good upper body session with high volume followed by heavy swinging for more specific conditioning, back and leg strength. Good session after all.

Regards
