Training Log – 27/1/11

Good solid session today with my Intermediate / Advanced guys.

Mobility warm up followed by a few hindu push ups and messing with the plank.

Work sets:

Bottoms Up Clean & press (alternating hands), 20kg x 5 l/r x 1 Bottoms Up Double Clean & Press: 20kg’s x 5 x 2, 16’s x 5 x 1

1A: Double 32kg Jerks 1B: Renegade Row 40kg (1,2,3,4,5)(1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1) No Rest

Hip Thrust 64kg x 5

2H Swings, 10 reps each of: 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 40, 36, 32, 28, 24, 20, 16, 12, 8kg


The wrist thing is still bugging me somewhat but the swelling has gone down. The jerks were comfortable. All weights noted are my own sets, each member the crew worked to their own level.

Another busy week so training was a bit intermittent. I did however get back to throwing some iron around, first time in over a month I’ve done anything other than demo the kettlebell. Still kept up

Training Log – Wk ending 10/8/12

Took a bit of a back week this week, it was necessary. I have injuries in the low back from doing some stupid stuff several years ago, essentially within a 6 month period I first of all twisted my SI
