Indian Clubs Workshop – Portumna

Last week Maria and I taught an Indian Clubs workshop in Elite Fitness and Performance, Blackrock.

We were here!

Like a pair of muppets, we forgot to take photos or document the event in any way, shape or form.

Instead, we got into the flow of teaching, demoing and answering questions.

Needless to say (I hope) that there were 15 happy customers by the end of the day.

On attendee was a WG-Fit regular, he’s been back in training since and has commented about how use normally tight shoulders do feel better.

If you missed it, I will be teaching the workshop again, this time in Portumna.

As I’ll be travelling across country, it’ll be a longer workshop, running 1000-1600 hrs. So we’ll cover the Indian Clubs material plus look at complimentary bodyweight exercises, other shoulder and wrist mobility drills and a comprehensive Q&A

Here’s Paulie and I alternating between Indian Club and Kettlebell Exercises:

Heavy compressive load from the kettles, light decompressive (traction) load from the clubs = happy and healthy shoulders.

And believe me, Paul and I both carry significant shoulder injuries. Training with the clubs keeps us training full stop!

If you have shoulders and you want to get them healthier, more resilient and better able for the rigours of whatever the hell you want, here’s the details:

See you there
