I promised to answer it, but he got busy training, I got busy coaching around the room and before we knew, we’d both forgot, he’d gone and I’m thinking, “bollocks, that would have been a fun question to answer” So here it is in a video, because there would have been too many words to type. Why Are You Wearing Those Shoes?

This mornings first client is a keen amateur runner. Over the weekend he went out to Amphibian King, he preferred running shoe supplier to buy himself some new kit. The guys in the shop do a gait analysis to help decide which shoes you buy. He’s always been told to buy shoes to prevent “over-pronation” He was wearing them on the day he went to get a new pair. I have just set up a fundraising page over on mycharity.ie and would appreciate it if you could show some support. But back to your feet. Just this morning after the bootcamp I had one of my lads come up to me and ask about running technique as he

Postural Awareness Workshop – 29th May

Highly respectes Rolfing practitioner, Tony Walsh, is giving up an afternoon to talk, demonstrate and teach various techniques that will improve postural alignment. Rolfing is the brain child of Ida Rolf, one of the originators of Physical Therapy. Almost every branch of hands on therapy owes it’s roots to the work of Ida Rolf. This workshop is aimed at athletes and fighters, it will not only help the fighters posture but also help them move the body as a unit to become more

    Shoulder Health & Improved Posture

Take a look at the picture. While it maybe humorous, it is alarmingly close to the truth (as all good humour is..) Now, ok, you go to the gym, but really is an hour in the gym going to undo 8 hours of sitting at desk? And is your program helping or is it hindering your progress? I’m not going to go inot the ins a
